"This was one of the worst stays our family has experienced. Staff is very aggressive and they become defensive when you bring up issues instead of helping. They will do shady things to try and keep your money instead of rectifying issues. The front desk staff is very hostile. Scary place to stay. The room was not clean but that was the least of our worries. The staff will also enter your room even if you tell them not to. This is a violation of privacy and local penal codes. So if you like aggressive staff, unsafe people/area, dirty rooms/property, and shady dealings this is your spot."

"The Grotto was a perfect setting for our family reunion. Clean and comfortable, we enjoyed the indoor space as well as the several games and especially the shaded swimming pool and hot tub. The back of the house is desert landscaped with a beautiful view of the mountains. Norman was quickly responsive to a minor issue and the kitchen was well equipped including a nice espresso machine for my son the barista. In summary, a great venue for a family reunion. We would happily stay here again next year."

"This VRBO was comfortable and clean. The check in process was seamless and the host prepared it nicely for our stay. We had issues with a kitchen cupboard and shower but all other amenities worked as advertised. We had four adults at our stay and it would have been useful to have a free more glasses, especially wine and beer but we made it work. We would stay here again. "
