"The pools were nice and not overly crowded, most staff were decent, although they were severely understaffed which I think caused some of them to be rude. The towels in the room were old and had a smell to them, the toilet always smelled like the gasket wasn’t installed properly or something. I’d rate the food quality maybe at like a 2-3 and availability pretty low they ran out of stuff kind of often. The restaurants were also just buffets and not that great. A lot of the food wasn’t labelled at all so if you have allergies it’s hard to tell if you can eat some of it. Lastly everyone on our trip got sick either on the second last day or the last day and a few are still sick at the time of writing this 5 days after leaving. All in all go somewhere else. "

"The location is the best thing. Two blocks or less too, The beach, the bank, the casino, the supermarket, restaurants/bars, rentals and shops. The pool is large. The rooms have a small kitchen with a bigger common one to use. Each room has an outdoor eating area and hammok. It at times felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Some things in the room are slightly outdated but the staff, location and the Mimi the kitty made up for all of it. Blue collar Neal from Alberta."

"The condo was very nice, clean, comfortable, well stocked, just about perfect. The grounds and pools were immaculate, safe, and secure, everything was great. I am very disappointed in the listing stating this was directly on the beach, it is many blocks away from the beach. We had to drive to the beach, you could walk, but it would be a ways. When I contacted the owner about the listing they blamed the misinformation on expedia and made no accommodations for the expectations set in the listing. Said we can use the beach club, but there was a per person fee to go there when we looked in to it. The condo is so nice that deception isnt needed to book it, it really could stand on its own merit. "

"The condo was clean and very comfortable. A few minor items…. No coffee filters for the coffee maker and the power button for the TV was temperamental. There were lots of towel and ample toiletries. There was also an abundance of ice which was appreciated. Overall it was a beautiful place to stay. Would recommend. "

"Great place with clean beds and towels. Loved they had a bunch of beach stuff available for us to use! There was a big clump of black hair on the ground in the kitchen but other than that is was very clean. The showers didn't get super hot, even with the heater attached. The biggest concern for us was the door handle didn't work properly. We closed the door while inside without locking it and tried to get go outside but when turning the door handle it would not turn the latch to open the door. If our son wasn't outside still we would have been locked inside. Very big safety hazard. We had to put paper towels in the hole where the latch went in so it wouldn't lock us in. I did message them but it took a long time for them to get back to us and by that time we were checking out. To their defense the cell service isn't great in Costa Rica. I would go stay again though. We stayed in unit 6 right by the pool and it was nice. Used the free washer and dryer that was available! Great perk before we went home. "
