Super cool small place with GREAT people. Everything was clean, the pool and shady area was great, and the amazing flora around the property is beautiful. The LOCATION was the best, situated at the end of a secluded street with almost no traffic and the beach literally a 2 minute walk around the corner. The staff were very kind and happy to help with anything.

We stayed for our honeymoon and it was an excellent stay. The staff were kind and helpful, just be prepared to communicate in Spanish. The "included breakfast" is freshly cooked by the staff to order: gallo pinto, omelette, toast, etc and all were delicious. The AC and fan in the room were sufficient to keep it cool and enjoyable. The pool was clean and fun. Less than 5 minute walk to Coco Beach. Several decent restaurants within a 5 minute walk and the main street with lots of stuff available by 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk. We did lots of recreational activities in a 1.5-2 hour drive, and there were many closer we didn't try. We are already talking about coming back next year, you should give this hotel a try!

Beautiful landscaped grounds, made if feel like you were in a jungle resort. All kinds of creatures with howler monkeys in trees just off out balcony the highlight. Great breakfast and the staff were amazing. Great pool as well. 1 block from the beautiful beach with great walking along the ocean to Playa del Coco.

This is a wonderful hotel. They organised our transfer from the airport and we were able to buy breakfast when we arrived and use the pool until our room was ready in the afternoon. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach and 20 minute walk to the town, although there are lots of restaurants closer. The staff were very friendly and we really enjoyed our stay. We would highly recommend Hotel Villa Del Sol.

Loved being surrounded by the jungle. Short walk to the beach. Good air conditioning. The staff were friendly and kind. The cooked breakfast was a nice treat. The staff offered portable "beach" chairs, but they weren't really beach chairs, more like chairs used for an outdoor concert. We were expecting Tommy Bahama style beach chairs. This was our only disappointment.

This little taste of heaven is so relaxing and welcoming with it's garden like yard, pool and accommodations...and only 1 block from the beautiful and swimmer friendly Playas del Coco. If you want a secure and relaxing refuge without the hustle and bustle of a large hotel with tons of people, this is for you. It is slightly removed from the main shopping area of PdC but walkable with several restaurants within 10 minutes walk. I would definitely go back to Villa del Sol Boutique Hotel.
