"The property is quaint and well kept, centrally located within walking distance to everything….including steps from the beach! Everything is well maintained and immaculately clean, with consistent WiFi and excellent AC in guest rooms. The pool area is a sublimely relaxing space and the restaurant menu serves something for everyone’s palate. **BUT** what makes The Palms so genuinely special is its staff. Every staff member is friendly, knowledgeable and goes above and beyond, adding personal touches to the customer service they provide, especially Ileana at reception and Chris in the dining/bar area. Huge thanks to the entire team for a fantastic stay. PURA VIDA!!"

"I was here for a couple days and the stay here was great. Melina, the property manager, was easy to get ahold of, and when I had an issue she got it fixed right away. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to stay close to the beach and any restaurants. "

Terrible customer service and big rip off

"Absolutely awful customer service. The owner tried to shake me down for $41 dollars in Costa Rica money even though I had already paid online by credit card. The she told me I had to check in at the sister property in playa Coco. It was hard enough to find this place. It too me a total of 1 hour to check on. Then there is no WiFi in the rooms, so I had to sit outside of the office just to get online. The best things were the cold AC, the proximity to the beach, and the free parking. I would give this place a huge miss because of the customer service and the price. Should be $15 per night if you are desperate."

Absolutely amazing!

"We knew this place would be amazing based on the pictures, but honestly, they don't do it justice. This home is absolutely beautiful. Between the views and the fully stocked home, the owner's truly thought of everything. Also, the house manager, Alex was extremely friendly and very helpful. While the home is not walkable to a beach, everyday we spent the morning in the pool, then visited one of the many beaches in the area (ranging from 8 mins-1hr drive), then came back in the evening to grill and take in the views. Thank you so much for having us. You made our vacation a 10 out of 10."

"I could not say enough positive words about this home! We had truly the best time at Casa Timlin - everything was wonderful - beds comfortable, great bathrooms, perfect pool and deck, the most stunning views and sunsets you can imagine. On top of that, the hosts Tim, housekeeper Reyna and her husband, and Ian the activities concierge were always responsive, caring and recommended amazing places to see during our stay while being thoughtful about our children’s ages and what would be a good fit.We can’t wait to come back!"
