"I think very few gaijin go this far out. Some of the communication was difficult but the staff tried really hard and we enjoyed the stay Hard to navigate getting to and from major stations and it snowed one day at end of March Overall I’m glad we did it for the experience to be immersed in Japanese culture. "Nice hotel located right in front of JR station and Tobu station. All of the tour buses start there. There are shopping and restaurants nearby. The hotel is modern and clean, tge staff was friendly. The room is spacious and the hotel onsen is nice. The free hot/cold drink in the lobby is a plus. Highly recommended."
