"We just had a wonderful 7 night stay at Royal Haciendas with 3 kids (7, 9 and 13). We enjoyed the pools, organized activities and our kids played a lot of basketball. The younger two enjoyed the afternoon arts and crafts in the at the kids club. We never managed to get a reservation at the 2 restaurants but enjoyed the nightly themed buffet. The food was all very good. Night time shows were fun but would love to see more evening activities and maybe a game room available in the evening. The one pool table at the bar was always occupied. We booked a trip to Xel Ha through the hotel and transportation to the ferry to Isla Mujeres as well, which was incredibly convenient. "

"The resort has a lot of potential but lacks guest service. Workers were not very helpful and did not go above and beyond. Oftentimes, when a problem or question arose, you would be sent to someone else. It was also very difficult to book dinners on the app, however the buffet had plenty of food. Overall, average service with potential to be good! "

"The staff were great and very friendly and helpful,everything was excellent. The only real drawback is the beach is a bit of a disappointment and maybe more activities for younger kids. Overall very happy with our decision to go there and will be back"
