This home is everything you may need for family and friends! Close to anywhere you need to be. 30 minutes from downtown Chicago, 15 minutes from Oakbrook, plenty of restaurants, entertainment, and shopping in very close range! Very quiet suburban neighborhood thats very close to downtown Chicago, ohare airport and midway airport. You cant loose being here!

I loved the location of this neighborhood since it is right next to a Target, gas station, and multiple options for food. The house was clean, roomy and in a safe neighborhood. There are 2 full bathrooms and 2 full living rooms since the basement is finished. We enjoyed our stay for the weekend.

Accommodates a family but needs attention to detail

The house was conveniently located for an event we attended in the area, and it accommodated me and my family well. The place was clean and quiet, but there was a noticeable smell of smoke throughout the house. Our room also had a strong pet odor, which required us to keep the windows open to sleep comfortably. While the appliances were new, the house lacked some basic essentials, such as wine glasses, coffee cups, etc. On a positive note, the host was very responsive and I'm confident these issues will be addressed for future renters.

FIrst time I have had my daughters, their spouse and new grandchildren all together. Size of home, location, proximity to zoo, park and groceries was ideal. Communications with owner were prompt. Overall pleasant stay. We did have a brief problem with fruit flies and garbage had not been removed prior to our arrival. Also, no toilet paper lol. Small issues and easily resolved. The accommodations could use some new linens and towels; some furniture was well used. However, overall serviceable and comfortable.

We came into town for a family reunion and the house was perfect to accommodate my immediate family members. The location was convenient for getting to extended family members who live in the Chicago and Indiana area.

Great location for Chicago but owner had allowed smoking before

Great location if you are taking day trips to Chicago. The neighborhood was nice too. We had to open the windows each day to clear out the lingering smoke smell. The owner offered to bring some air fresheners, but we preferred opening the windows and avoided the basement where the smoking had been previously allowed.

Chicago getaway

This place is recently renovated and the location is perfect. Just off the highway, so easy to get to anywhere. The beds are luxurious but high, which may be difficult for older guests, but very comfortable. Otis is a wonderful host!

Great Chicago Getaway!

I would recommend this very nice roomy rental for anyone with a large group who is spending time in Chicago. The rental has three very nice spacious rooms with comfortable beds. The finished basement with a tv area, pool table and full bathroom allow for large groups to spread out. The kitchen is well equipment with everything you could need if you choose to cook on vacation. The neighborhood is nice and quiet while very convenient to shops, restaurants, and easy access onto I-290 East. Which is then a straight shot into downtown Chicago. Depending on the time of day, this can take as little as 20 mins. The host, Otis, is not only very responsive and accommodating. If there is something you need, he will try and make sure this rental has it for you. Only with much needed and appreciated waters cold in the fridge when we arrived. He’s also very flexible. He allowed us more time when our car keys were misplaced. Which allowed us time to calmly retrace our steps and discover them in the bottom of the kitchen trash can…….. I would not only rent from him again but would live in this home if I had to move to this area. The best recommendation I can make for a rental!!
