"This hotel bears no resemblance to the images. The restaurant is closed and the bar poorly stocked I was recommended to go out. The only food offering was Mini Cheddars. The room's TV did not work, and it was not clean. Part used complimentary shower gel was available however. The door handle to the room came off in my hand. "The room was relatively clean, the staff were really helpful, especially with guidance on how to access the hotel due to buss restrictions. The Tav didn't work but it wasn't a problem for the stay, but the staff tried to solve the issue but with no luck. Overall a pleasant stay."

"The cottage is in need of a deep clean. The bed around the mattress was filthy with dust, hair and cobwebs underneath. The same behind the bedside cabinets. The vinyl sofa in the lounge smelt like a regiment of overweight sweaty men had spent a few summers sitting on it and gently marinating the vinyl until it stunk of stale sweat. We had to disinfect the entire thing with spray. It still smelt bad afterwards. One for the local tip I would suggest. "

"The staff and the breakfast were amazing however the rooms have no shampoo (body wash is not going to do it for me), no lotion, no tissues and no phone. No phone makes it extremely difficult for overseas visitors to contact reception. Even the charming lady on reception who confirmed that these amenities were not offered in the hotel states that they were a budget hotel ‘but maybe not - we are quite expensive’. "

"Excellent communication from host & easy check in with key lock. Room was spacious & comfortable for our family of 4. The only negative was that we hadn’t realised that bathroom would be downstairs, which resulted in the kids being a bit anxious about going on their own, as it’s a shared house and they weren’t comfortable wandering around the house on their own with strangers. Not a problem for the adults, but the kids weren’t comfortable. "

"Filty from the entrance to the kitchen and toilet. I coukd not have a shower or use the kitchen. The room is fine. The advert says private bathroom but it was shared. I had to go downstairs to the back of the kitchen to get to the toilet. Wont come back. "
