「Fantastic little cottage and the attention to details was great!!! The owners supplied milk, coffee, tea and chocolate chip muffins which were very much welcomed after a long drive. Location was brilliant and very close to Alton Towers (5 mins drive) and the suggested walks around the area were very relaxing. All in all we had a fantastic and relaxing time staying in this cottage. Definitely will be back and recommend to family and friends.」
「A lovely stay, very close to Alton Towers. The staff were lovely & the continental breakfast varied & suited us well.
The rooms are separate "chalets" with allocated parking spaces next to each front door. We were concerned that staying in a pub may be noisy, but had a very peaceful night's sleep! The beds were very comfy & the family room spacious enough for 2 adults & 2 teenage kids (as long as they are happy in bunk beds!)

Apartment was very comfortable, beds comfy too with crisp white linen and towels.
Good instructions for entry. Some more information about bins etc would have been good. WiFi was a bit iffy at times but didn’t hugely impact on us. Connection instructions weren’t correct but we worked it out eventually.
Would consider staying again when next visiting Alton Towers. 」

「Hotels.com with the hotel have some payment issue. When I check in the hotel front desk staff said that i need to pay for this trip, however, I already fully paid when i booked the hotel. After check and clarified she confirmed already received my payment. And I called to Hotel.com the staff request me to pay again for the hotel and refund my previous payment with Hotel.com due to some payment issue between Hotel.com and the Hotel. But is it the issue of customer why i have to do that.

The only negative was that we hadn’t realised that bathroom would be downstairs, which resulted in the kids being a bit anxious about going on their own, as it’s a shared house and they weren’t comfortable wandering around the house on their own with strangers. Not a problem for the adults, but the kids weren’t comfortable. 」
