"Excellent communication from host & easy check in with key lock. Room was spacious & comfortable for our family of 4. The only negative was that we hadn’t realised that bathroom would be downstairs, which resulted in the kids being a bit anxious about going on their own, as it’s a shared house and they weren’t comfortable wandering around the house on their own with strangers. Not a problem for the adults, but the kids weren’t comfortable. "

"Hotel was very clean and quiet. This was fantastic as it was next to a busy road but it was almost silent! The air conditioning worked really well on a very hot day and the staff were really nice. Bed was comfortable room a good size. Had a bit of trouble getting served at the bar and we were ignored for a while being at the side but they were apologetic for this. Breakfast was typical for a buffet but the coffee wasn't great. Parking was a bit tricky to find (could do with a sign on the main road) but there was plenty of space - (don't forget to pay on arrival and put your registration into the tablet). Will definitely stay again next time we visit our friends."

"Absolutely fabulous. Would highly recommend. The owner was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. So much so that we will be returning to explore the area further. Great location for Alton Towers with wonderful pubs close by too. We had an issue with our taxi not arriving in the morning and had a panic to get to the station on time. The owner emailed me to check we had got our train on time. Very thoughtful and we will be back to stay again soon. Thank you."
