「ダービー市内からイーストミッドランドに翌朝移動するのに少しでも翌朝の仕事場に近い所として選択。 2回目。今回の部屋には机がなく仕事をするには不便だった。諦めてホテルのレストランを使用。レストランは地元の人達でいっぱい。食事もリーズナブルで美味しい。クルマでないと不便かも。部屋は狭いが綺麗ではあった。」

「Had a lovely 2 night stay at Compton guesthouse. Clean and comfortable very large room with ensuite bathroom (including a bathtub) lovely victorian building. Didnt see any staff during our stay but this was not an issue as given check in instructions via text message. Short walk to centre with numerous bars and restraunts. Will definitely stay again.」

「Lovely, cosy pub hotel. Great food with a choice of menus, ranging from the tasting menu to simple (but very well done) pub fayre. We chose from the pub menu, special mention to the fish and chips, perfect! Accompanied by a good choice of drinks, with beer from the local Thornbridge brewery. Very handy spot for local attractions. We stayed for one night on a mini-break and the room was perfect. Lovely bedroom decoration, nicely fitted out bathroom with a decent sized bath and rainfall...

「Loved the quaint hotel. It was comfortable and quiet so easy to sleep. Lots of choices for dinner. Breakfast was freshly good and lovely. Wish we could stay longer.」

「What a lovely comfortable stay. Nice beds , pillows and duvet and in a beautiful house. Tea and coffee and a bottle of water on arrival. Could have had breakfast but didn't. There's a pub down the road. Will definitely stay again and go for walks around the area」

「One night stay was good for what we needed just very dusty , cobwebs everywhere , dust in the air vent in the bathroom , cracks and screws hanging out. Would stay again as the room is adequate just needs abit of a clean. 」

「部屋はかわいい感じで、キレイでとても良かったです。入口正面のレストランから入ってよいのか、裏口からなのか…ちょっとウロウロして怪しい人になってました。結局裏口からはいりましたけど。朝ご飯のベーコンがおいしかったです。」

「Really good communication with Alex. The property was as stated in the description. We were a family of 7 adults so the living/eating space was a bit limited but we were out much of the time. A really quick walk into Buxton which is lovely」

「This large and very well presented B&B property is ideally situated to visit nearby Hardwick Hall and is just off the motorway. In a safe, rural location, it is purpose built and has plenty of safe easy parking. Our room was spacious well appointed, albeit somewhat functional and lacking decorative touches. The walls are very thin, so our loud neighbour kept us awake most of the night. Breakfast was simple but more than adequate.」

「The property amply met our expectations. It was spacious, beautifully furnished and provided a generously stocked kitchen and bathroom. We felt welcomed and extremely comfortable. The views of the countryside were relaxing. We were attending a wedding but there are lots of attractions and activities locally. We will return.」
