「Absolutely brilliant and stunning cottage, would recommend for a cozy couple retreat..... The garden is fantastic, with the added bonus of a covered hot tub.The kitchen is well stocked with all you need, the living room is cozy and comfortable .Upstairs was fantastic with both bedrooms having ensuite shower and toilet, ideal for two couples........will definitely be booking again.」

「Accomodation was larger than it looks in the photos, which was a nice surprise. The beds were comfortable, however I would take earplugs as I struggled to sleep due to the cars going past outside. I had to go and buy some from the town centre. At night the cars whizz past really fast. The listing states that there is free parking but this isn’t true- you have to pay for it. I have asked Hotels.com to amend this as it’s false advertising. The reason we booked this hotel was for the free...

「This was a return visit to Waterfall cottage for us. It is so cosy and comfortable with walks accessible from the front door, and a few minutes drive away from Matllock but Bakewell and Chatsworth House are also nearby. Mrs Else is so welcoming and left us a super welcome pack and shared photos of how the cottages were built back in the 80s. We will definitely come back again but for a longer stay as there is so much to do and see.」
