「This was a return visit to Waterfall cottage for us. It is so cosy and comfortable with walks accessible from the front door, and a few minutes drive away from Matllock but Bakewell and Chatsworth House are also nearby. Mrs Else is so welcoming and left us a super welcome pack and shared photos of how the cottages were built back in the 80s. We will definitely come back again but for a longer stay as there is so much to do and see.」

「Cottage was well presented , very well maintained and clean - Everything you need in the house - No pets allowed was a bonus for us with allergies to pet hair / fur Location is Bonsall was great - central to the area and 2 good pubs in walking distance of 1 minute and 10 minutes Loads to see and do in the area . A real gem and fabulous hosts who checked with us that we were comfortable and had what we needed. - pssst! Don’t tell anyone they will all want to go」

「Great location for a couple with dog in a quiet area of Matlock. Convenient park and walking routes from here. Dog friendly. Between two good pubs for food. We have a petrol car and parking in front of cottage was OK, but maybe a big SUV cannot and you need to park around the corner. Comms from owner were good and had no problems checking in and out.」
