"Day crew is absolutely amazing and professional, a English speaking team member is on board to assist. Day team went above and beyond the call of duty. Night shift, had very little comprehension of English and when spoken to in my basic Japanese skills, they were clueless to my needs. Even my travel agency experienced language barriers with the night shift when attempting to address my day late arrival due to airline cancellations in order to keep reservations. "We live Toyoko Inn hotels. We always tried to book it if possible. The hotels are near train stations within walking distance. Free breakfast with simple food which are adequate. Good facilities. Very clean. Beds were a bit hard but still comfortable to sleep on. Bathroom was compact . Reception staff have limited English but no problem with check in. Service with a smile. It was such a great value for money."

"Very joyful building. My No 1 of our 10 hotels in this trip. Super close to station and it is on the decent street. Compliment clam miso soup with rice hot spring. Cannot expect more, 10 out of 10 for sure. I regret of only booking one night, and we got the room with punk beds. Ideal for family. Lovely staff"

"This property was the last hotel we stayed at of a 3 week vacation and it was the perfect send off! It has an interior access to the train station. The lobby is beautiful with a side room with beverages in the afternoon. We were in a habit facing high room and the view was spectacular! Very roomy! Clean! Classy! The kitchenette is perfect! The staff at the front desk was very friendly. The laundry facilities was nice - 6 each washer and dryers. Highly recommend this hotel!"

"Absolutely fantastic - lovely traditional room with private onsen and complimentary drinks. Staff were incredibly polite, friendly, and helpful. Pick up from Gora station, and they were even kind enough to bring my Suica card to the station when I forgot it when I checked out. The Kaiseki meal was incredible, as was breakfast, all served in our own private dining room. The public onsen was lovely too. Expensive stay, but worth it. "
