No real amenities like a restaurant, big bar, and the spa with pool is only if you upgrade, but if all you’re looking for is a nice clean room in a great location, then you can’t go wrong."

"An absolutely wonderful stay in a beautiful location. Our hosts were truly wonderful, very attentive and accommodating for our stay. Sitting at the pool, reading and spending time taking in the breathtaking views with a bottle of wine. "Staff at the hotel were superb.. I read some of the comments about five star hotel in previous reviews while the hotel itself may not be a five-star the staff and the service is easily five-star… I laugh at some of the comments…. if you want little slippers and matching housecoat, look like a prince and princess, then go to Palace… the meals were suburban with the first class chef from Brazil… when I came to the restaurant bar you couldn’t want more for service and quality…. awesome place for a weekend getaway… so inconvenient to get to some of the winery for tastings, but make the best of it…."
