「Our stay at Quinta de La Rosa was absolutely perfect. First of all, the property is beautiful. The rooms are large and have everything you need, including complimentary craft beers. 「We were so surprised by what was hiding behind the entrance door to this stay. A non descript metal door opened onto the cutest gravel courtyard and beyond that a lovely vineyard. 「Nice Hotel in the middle of the vineyards along the Douro river. Nice place for short stop while visiting the Douro Valley」

「Quinta Nova is a beautiful Quinta in spectacular surroundings. It is very comfortable and the service is impeccable - probably the best welcome of any hotel I have ever stayed at. The restaurant was also excellent - with enough choice for 3 fabulous meals even though the menu didn’t change during our 3 night stay. 「Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel war einfach traumhaft! Die Lage ist wunderschön und die Aussicht – besonders von der Terrasse – war einfach atemberaubend. Das Frühstück war sehr fein und reichhaltig, genau der richtige Start in den Tag. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die ruhige Atmosphäre, die zum Entspannen einlädt. 「The surroundings are beautiful, all vineyards. Know that this is in a pretty isolated area and it requires driving on small two lane mountain roads with some hairpin turns to get here. We were practically the only guests here during our stay, and had a breakfast spread waiting for us each morning. We had the infinity pool to ourselves. The grounds are great. The room was kind of fancy looking, but romantic. (Note: glass walls on the bathroom.) Also note, you have to drive at least 15 minutes...

「ピニャオン駅からタクシーで５分強。見渡す限りブドウ畑の山々をくねくね走り、石畳の道を下ると、ホテルがひっそりと佇んでいます。何となく家に帰り着いた様なほっこリした気分になります。素敵なオーナーマダムが迎えてくれます。ホテルの庭の外れに大きな木があり、そこにはアルプスの少女ハイジが乗っている様なブランコが！！！空を舞っている様な気分になれます。食事はマダムお勧めの川魚をチョイス。料理のボリュームも程ほどで、デザートを食べる余裕があり、こちらもマダムお勧めのプディン（とても濃厚でまったりした美味しさ）を頂く事ができました。でも一番のお勧めは、こちらのキンタのワイン。ブランド名は＜DORNA VELHA＞です。今回は１泊しか出来なかったけど、今度ポルトガルに行く機会があれば数日間ゆっくり滞在したいホテルでした。」

「Stunning venue, great wine and easy transport from Pinhão station. Did the wine tasting and had a massage service. Both great experiences. Only minor issue was the limited food options, although one night the buffet included a BBQ which went down well. 」
