Everything about this hotel was great except for one brusque employee, who for some reason was reluctant to reserve a taxi for us for the next morning. However, all the other employees were polite and helpful, particularly the desk clerk who offered to make us take-away cups of coffee at 4:45 a.m.!"

"4 night stay in October - the wife and I. Really nice hotel - perfect for exploring Bilbao. Location 10/10 as by the footbridge over the Nervion and by the Guggenheim, new town, Bilboats and funicular. We were on the top floor - no views except suites - room 719 was quiet, clean albeit we had the worlds squeakiest bathroom door and were fodder for a ravenous mosquito but soon sorted. Staff, breakfast, reception and bar area 10/10. Tip - pay for breakfast it is tip top! Thanks"
