「GREAT location! And parking in a lot included, which was amazing after a long drive! Staff was very nice. Room is very outdated, but overall comfortable. Had a lovely little balcony overlooking the river which was so nice! Our original room had issues smelling like sewage - we went to the front desk late at night and they immediately switched our room. But no A/C so it was a bit warm, we opened the balcony door to cool off but be aware. I would likely stay again, b/c of the location, walking...

「This place understands what hospitality is. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed as if it was our home. Our bags were taken to our room and we had a welcome drink on the terrace overlooking the spectacular Douro Valley. We joined other guests for a family style meal and enjoyed getting to know people from many different countries. Amazing place to relax, appreciate the area, with a wonderful team to help with questions and make the visit super comfortable.」
