"Pretty semi-rural area that is convenient and quiet. Very homey feeling with good sized kitchen, bath and central area. Maria and Nelson were easily reached for any questions. Island is great for natural beauty and relaxed vibe."

"We had an amazing honeymoon here thanks to the staff, and others staying at the property at the same time. There are not a lot of walkable things around so the hotel has a few food items for purchase. This let us have dinner while we were stuck inside during a storm! We loved it here and will be back!"

"The pictures on Expedia and their website do not do justice to this place. It is a very impressive working winery and the rooms are well appointed. Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were excellent though service was mixed when it was busy. My only complaint is that the ‘smoking area’ for diners is close to the outdoor terrace and with the prevailing wind it meant that you could smell and taste the cigaretttes at that end of the terrace - not pleasant when you are not used to it. "Very unique experience - beautiful rustic setting with many farm animals on property and as it is a converted estate, has a lot of character. The restaurant was fabulous - personal touch by the manager and cook Ricardo who took the time to make it a true gastronomic experience. Everything cooked in wood burning oven, most everything served is locally sourced. Also fabulous breakfast. "
