"This is a nice romantic retreat (log fire in lounge), quiet and set in the woods and pretty gardens and well cared for. Nice place for a meditative retreat or base for walking. Very good wifi. The owner is very helpful and pleasant but not always on site. Apart from no TV or central hotel reception, the apartment was a good size and well equipped, especially the kitchen. The terrace of the house has an unobstructed sea view. The location is ideal for exploring the area. We really enjoyed our vacation here."

"Accueil chaleureux, charmant jardin et piscine comme sur les photos, mais il s’agit vraiment d’un logement en demi sous-sol, très humide et sommairement aménagé et peu pratique (la salle de bains n’est pas accessible directement, il faut passer par un couloir demi-extérieur avec un sol de béton brut). On sent de très gros efforts et une grande gentillesse de la part des hôtes, mais l’espace n’est pas très agréable et on entend le moindre mouvement des occupants du logement situé au-dessus....

"Our hosts, Maria Eugenia and Jose, were amazing! Kind, informative, generous, helpful, I can't say enough about them. We stayed for four days, two couples in the larger home. It was spacious, each couple with their own bathroom. We ate most of our meals at home. Our comadre caught a cold right upon arrival. She had a comfortable place to read, rest and recover, while we enjoyed the pool and had such a wonderful outing in the boat on the Douro river. This was definitely a once in a life time...

"Pure magic. I told my husband that I thought this listing had to be fake because for the price, right ON THE BEACH, 3BR 2BTH, absolute perfection. This beach bungalow is in the side of a cliff at the very edge of Benagil. Overlooking the famous beach and facing ocean with cliff face, it could not be more picturesque.
