"This is a very local non touristy village. We enjoyed the hospitality (even if we couldn’t communicate) The owner helped accomadate my sea food allergy. We really liked the hot bath available in the beautiful water. The only thing I would say is that it isn’t close to anything and you have to walk about 22 minutes to the train "

I used the laundry room during our stay and noticed the detergent was out—after letting the staff know, they immediately refilled it and even refunded the money so I could rewash my clothes properly. Really appreciated their attentiveness and great service. Overall, an excellent and convenient place to stay while exploring Kyoto!"
