"Lovely view from our room. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor bath. Buffet breakfast was amazing with a large variety of options. We stayed there for 2 nights and had two different kaiseki meals. We also loved how easy it was to get here from Kyoto station. "

"If you are looking for a traditional ryokan and a more remote area, this is the perfect place. Although it is about 45 mins from Kyoto train station, you will not be disappointed. Upon arrival, we were immediatelty greeted by the staff and welcomed with matcha tea while our bags were taken to our rooms. The rooms were very clean and beautifully decorated. Our room featured a private onsen overlooking the mountains. It was absolutely breathtaking. Both dinner and breakfast were amazing! We stayed one night and spent the next morning walking around the small town which was quite quaint and adorable. We would definitely stay here again!"

"I loved loved my room was perfect Had a great sleep. Amazing view. Staff were polite and great. Only issue was my son and his friend are cycleing on this trip. They brought their bikes inside to a designated location per staff but someone got in theire and stole some of their tools and lowered the seats etc Was to be a secure spot so that was disappointing. Reported the next morning. "
