Top Biwako Valley Hotel Reviews

hotel MONday Kyoto Karasuma Nijo

hotel MONday Kyoto Karasuma Nijo

10/10 Excellent
"We had an excellent 3 night stay. We were 3 including a child, the room was spacious enough. The room was very quiet, a/c worked well. We used the onsite coin laundry. The breakfast buffet was amazing, a wide selection of Japanese food and also a good Western selection. The hotel location is central and you can use the bus to get around. We used the free shuttle to the golden temple. All in all we had a great time."

"The Agora place is a no frills but relaxed hotel. There are amenities on the ground floor that are all you need. The room was a reasonable size and very clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. There is a large supermarket very close. The hotel is close to the Nijo castle and Imperial palace and an easy walk to bus stops and metro station with direct access to Kyoto station. My room was quiet but the hotel is situated on a busy noisy road."

Lake Biwa Otsu Prince Hotel

Lake Biwa Otsu Prince Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"The room was clean and quite large, much larger than the typical Japanese hotel room. We were on a high floor, and the view was beautiful. The breakfast buffet is fine but not that extensive. For us, the highlight was the front desk staff, which made several calls for us to work out an unexpected difficulty (we don't speak Japanese). They were absolutely fantastic. We can't thank them enough."
