The hotel was very nice and the staff was great. 20 seconds from the hotel you can walk the paths along the lake and it is beautiful. Two stops away from Kyoto station.

A great hotel, nice big rooms. Took us a day to discover there was a shuttle bus to and from Otsu Station, but when utilised it was easier, as it's a 20 minute walk to Zeze Station (closest JR station). Was disappointed to hear there was no laundry facility for guests.

What a view!

It’s a beautiful hotel, lakeside with an amazing view. The room was spacious with all the amenities we needed. All the staff was helpful, friendly and professional. The breakfast was yummy with a wide selection. They seemed to be understaffed at breakfast for the volume of guests which created waiting to get in for breakfast.

Great value. We probably visited during the off peak season as the entire area was quiet. The hotel is conveniently located by the lake with a supermarket just down the street and a shuttle bus which brings guests to and from Otsu station. Rioms were clean and we got upgraded to a bigger room which was good for our family. View from the room was great too!

I had one night stay with great satisfaction totally no complaint to say about hotel systems parking lot system is pretty good, I like it the twin room was kinda big and enjoyed splendid Biwako view also had a super good time of brekfast with various kind of foods and all kinds we had were very very tastey. it's for sure we'll be back. thank all of you.

It has the most spectacular views over the lake! Was peaceful and beautiful. We loved the buffet breakfast each morning as there weren't cafes for brekky close by, but do not recommend the buffet dinner - was very overpriced for what you got. There are great, cheaper and more delicious restaurant choices nearby. The regular bus transfer to the station was very helpful! Used it most days.

I stayed 4 nights. It was the beginning of September, a terribly hot month in Japan. I had planned to spend the day swimming in the pool, but it was closed on weekdays. I could not swim at all. The size of the room and the view were wonderful.
