"What a special trip, what made it even more of a special trip was the above and beyond service and assistance from Roger the general manager. Thank you so very much again for accommodating my daughter and I. You made our night there so very special. Had us gals feeling like princesses from our room and the praise you gave her for completing her school year. She was so excited and happy to see our beautiful room! From the jetted tub, the fireplaces, to that stunning view. You gave us the gift of new memories, mom a reset, and my girl the experience she’ll remember. Thank you to your staff and you! The breakfast buffet was great to have in the morning and a short walk to the beach after is unbeatable. The pool temperature was great and nice to do after our walk. We hope to return again."

"The staff was amazing, they were able to move things around to get us checked in a little earlier than the scheduled time which I appreciated! The staff during breakfast was also so attentive and friendly which is always a great way to start the morning! The pool and spa pool were enjoyable as well. I also love the blackout curtains that were in the room, it kept the room dark even with the sunlight being so bright outside in the morning. This is the second hotel I’ve ever stayed at and my partner and little one did as well!"

"There were a lot of pros and a couple of cons about this property. The location on the Oregon coast is fantastic; the access to Devils Punchbowl and tide pooling top notch. The steep hill and winding levels (think terraces) are unique but could be a deterrent for people who have trouble walking or are not in shape! The porter in his golf cart is always readily available to pick you up anywhere in the property (and comes quickly) but it requires a phone call to the front desk (so make sure you have the number on your mobile!) The pool has a great view of the ocean but it’s far from most of the rooms and on the bottom terrace. The myriad stairs to the beach are steep but doable. Note, there are no USB ports at all in the rooms so you need a charging cable and two pronged plug for the wall. The rooms are clean, but the end tables (only 1 small one per 2 queen beds) /lamps (how about USB ports?) /outlets (very few) need serious updating to get with the times. The wall art is kitschy but kinda cool. OK, the restaurant has GREAT food, but it’s pricey since it’s the only place for dinner in Otter Creek."
