I read somewhere the pool and hot tub were supposed to be back in order by the end of September and we were there October 4th through 6th and it was not available yet. It's an older establishment that is being slowly worked on I think. It has lots of lodging options. We would go back.

The staff was wonderful, friendly and helpful. I had splurged on a king room with a view, and I have to say that the view did make it worth the extra I spent on the room. The hotel is located near a set of stairs that go down to the beach, so that made it a very convenient location. And the bathroom was equipped with lots of nice toiletries. I knew before arriving that the pool was not open and was given the option of a refund for that reason. Apparently the pool hasn't been open for years, which I do not understand, since it did not look bad from the window. To be honest, the room smelled a bit like a wet dog when I arrived. Opening the windows for a while helped freshen up the place a little. The floor was very cold and I am glad I had brought flip flops with me. The blanket on the bed was very thin; I'm wondering why more blankets hadn't been provided, especially since my visit was in October. I prefer blankets to cranking up the heat. The heater did work, though, so that's a good thing. The shower was not warm in the least. Even after running the water for a while, it was barely tepid. I do not like wasting that much water. Same with the hand washing basin. The very nice staff person who I asked about this admitted that this room had been having problems with the water in there for some time. A hot shower would have been very nice. Anyway, the location was good. I would stay at this place again if I was assigned a room with a better shower.

The room is very good size, the only bad thing is the cleaning, I know you can bring your pet, but the cook was very dirty, the small refrigerator does not cool the microwave with food scraps, in general, a good size room, the only bad thing is cleaning.

It was a large roomy space for the price. Two bedroom unit 1 queen and 1 king. It was in very poor condition. Not clean and very beat up. Mini blinds at the dinette table had large sections of slates broken out and missing. Front door latch was missing all together. Heater in queen bedroom did not work. Toilet in queen bathroom refilled continually. broken floor tiles, bent toll bars, dirty carpet. It did not look like it had been vacuumed. Walls were paper thin between units and you could easily hear the goings on next to and above you. Your could hear everything between units through the adjoining unit connecting doors. Okay if you are looking for a large cheap accommodation and don't care about what shpe it si in or the cleanliness. Staff was very nice.

Perfect view and close to the attractions I came for. Very clean and comfortable. Pool and hot tub were out of order and didn't have many utensils in the kitchenette but still gave it 5 stars because the staff was awesome.

Didn’t like anything really. The tiny parking lot had a dumpster taking up half of the available spaces. There were hairs on kitchen counter the sink for brushing teeth was leaking under. No hot tub or pool. Stairs were super jankey. The mister is actually still having pain from falling on stairs. They were uneven and crooked. He hit his elbow on a rusty nail. We asked if we could pay for 30 min late check out because of having to deal with the wound and they said absolutely not.

We had a unit with fireplace. It was out of order. The pool was out of order. We were not notified ahead of time. The bathroom door had holes in it and the wood was peeling off of it. Swatches of mismatched paint on several spots of the walls. The carpet had several stains on it. We won't stay here again

I was in one of the 1 bedroom cottages/cabins, I forget what they call them. They look like cottages from the outside and cabins with nice, real wood paneling inside. It's a good size for 1 or 2 people. What I liked about it: Charming, like if you were borrowing your friends uncle's cabin. A mix of old and new furnishings, etc. Less motel vibe, more cabin vibe. It was old, but clean. Has a small but functional kitchen including Keurig with kcups, microwave, and a toaster. (If you plan to really use the kitchen, bring your own everything, there are some things there, but I wouldn't count on anything being there) It's right on the cliff overlooking the ocean, and it's next a public beach access, which is a great place to watch the sunset. The staff was amazing. What I didn't like about it: First of all, nothing here is a deal breaker. It's really more of a warning about things that were annoying and may be a deal breaker for you, if not me. The parking lot at the main building is small and may have you backing out onto the street to leave. The spots in that lot are small and don't fit full size trucks well. None of that may effect you, depending what building your room is in. The shower is small. I mean about as small as it could be. Smaller than some RV showers. I get it, there's not much room in the small bathroom, Overall pretty good. If you're at the coast for a few days, this is a good place with everything you need except a larger shower lol

The pool and hot tub were out of commission. No information was communicated to me prior to reaching the hotel destination. When I checked in I was informed that I can use the youth center up the street or take a last minute chance at another establishment. Due to such poor communication and false advertising I will need a reduction in the total cost for the hotel stay. I have already spoken with hotel staff and they are in agreement that there should be some reimbursement for this major inconvenience.
