"We loved the modern look and feel and large room. The shower is wonderful. Our room was serviced beyond what we expected for a 6 night stay. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The small fridge was helpful. The hotel is right above exit 3 of Kitahama Subway Station; we could conveniently get around Osaka. Bus 62 has stops near there which can get you to many places - particulary Osaka Castle. We did not take the breakfast option. Right next to the hotel entrance is Karato Bakery that had wonderful items at very reasonable costs for breakfast. We also got items from the Family Mart which is on the opposite side of the hotel entrance. "

"Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay in two connected rooms here. We were most grateful that they had a wonderful system to manage luggage before check in and after check out. We loved the beautiful onsen and the provided slippers and pajamas. The morning breakfast buffet was outstanding. The hotel was very clean with comfortable beds and a stunning view. Staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Check in was tedious as stood in a queue to be served, were then taken to the self service check in only to be returned to the back of the check in queue at reception! We had booked a superior room and although my expectation was that it would be small - it was - but made more difficult to manoeuvre around due to unnecessary furniture in place. Made it cluttered. The windows were frosted so no view but on the plus side did open a little for fresh air. There was lots of condensation on the inside of the windows in the mornings - perhaps the reason for a dehumidifier in situ in the room. We had to queue for breakfast (8 groups in the queue) and the restaurant mgr asked if a family would like to split up for breakfast! Dining area too small for the size of the hotel. Cooked food was lukewarm and supplies of fruit and breads not restocked when finished so not much of a choice. On the plus side the onsen was lovely and the location of the hotel good. I would imagine that a river view room would be very nice. All in all it was my least favourite out of the six hotels we stayed in during our trip and I wouldn’t return. "

"I already miss it. This hotel is in a great location. So quiet yet surrounded by gems of bakeries, restaurants, and a short walk to the river walkway. The free water was very much appreciated. The staff cares a lot and were responsive, friendly, and kind. Incredibly professional. I would stay here again. It’s impeccably clean. The only shortfall is the laundry. I don’t think the machines are well-maintained, and the laundry smelled weird. Fortunately there’s a very clean and well rated laundromat nearby. "
