「It’s an old hotel with upgrades. It was clean but no frills. No ice machine although the fridge had a good size freezer to refreeze our ice packs. No Kleenex. BUT Great sushi restaurant next door. Parking was easy. Staff was friendly and nice. 」

「This little spot is so peaceful and quiet. The bathroom was my favorite. We actually just used it so I could get ready for my wedding and then we passed out after all the events and left in the morning. It’s a perfect spot for a getaway and it’s just simple. Scott was great at communicating and making sure we had everything we needed. 」

「Grover beach is a lot less crowded than Pismo beach - not just the beach, but also the town. Beach access at Grover Beach, Monarch butterfly Grove, Vons (safeway), big chevron gas station are all with 5mins of driving and even walkable. Pismo beach is 10mins away. 「A convenient and affordable Pacific Highway stop, if slightly off the beaten track. The place is fine but we did feel it was perhaps a little over-marketed in the listing. The “futon” was more of a sofa (I did manage to sleep on it after requesting extra bedding), “free breakfast” was two pods for the coffee machine, pizza was not available after 6pm and if there was a beach we didn’t find it (at least 4 miles away).
