"I was only at the boardwalk hotel one night, but it was a GREAT night. As a solo female traveler, I felt super safe staying here and enjoyed all of the high-tech features of the room included the heated toilet seat, 10/10 for that alone! I got a discount at the Olive Cafe next door and everyone in the immediate area was super friendly and helpful. 10/10 recommend the location and the accomodations. My only wish is that I could have stayed here one more night, darn work! :)"

"We had a wonderful stay. Carolyn was an amazing host. The location is great. All restaurants and Belmont park are walkable. We cook a lot so we appreciated the well stocked kitchen. We had grandparents with us so the stairs were a bit rough for them but everyone was happy with the accommodations. The outdoor area is perfect to sit and eat around the fire pit. We come every year for Christmas and this house was perfect. "

"We loved our Mission Beach stay. The house was comfortable and we had everything we needed, with a terrific kitchen that made cooking meals easy. The host was extremely accommodating, and communication throughout our stay was excellent. The location is awesome—between the bay and the ocean. We biked or walked to coffee shops and restaurants and yoga class. Swimming and jogging was fun. It was also a quick drive to La Jolla Park. The airport is nearby which was convenient for travel. Loved the garage, easily fitting our rental car and bikes. We fully recommend this beach house!Trip highlights:•Five-day bike rental from Radd Action Sports. Set up the bike rental before we arrived and they delivered bikes to the house. Excellent bikes and great customer service.•Beach and Bay Bonfires— terrific bonfire service. Fun experience, beautiful sunset and wonderful evening on the beach.•The 25-mile Bayshore Bikeway ride from Imperial Beach. We rented electric bikes from IB Rents, which had excellent bikes and great customer service.•Whale watching tour with Legacy Whale Watch—we saw whales! It was also a terrific bike ride to the departure location."

"A wonderful place to stay. Great amenities, location to the beaches, food options on and within walking distance of the resort. Very friendly staff. Our only complaint was the cleaning staff must have forgotten to finish our room after our first night. The beds were made but towels, washcloths, coffee, paper coffee cups, and tissues were not replaced. We didn’t notice until the morning and it was too late to get them to bring replacements. Since we were only there two nights, we don’t know if it was just a mistake or if they only replace them on request. "

"This place was very clean when we checked in and very comfortable. It was so nice to be able to sit on the front patio in the morning and have our coffee. Its right on the boardwalk so the view and people watching is great! Good location, 1 mile from the pier and a half a mile from Belmont Park. The only thing that could be improved is maybe replace the screen door which was hard to open and shut and maybe try to make the patio less cramped (beach chairs, etc). Other than that I would highly recommend staying here, it was great!!"
