El Conquistador Resort

8/10 Good

"Ferry took too long to get to Palomino Island. Too long of a wait. First ferry was full so we had to wait for the second one. We were early on line, not late. Bathroom shower missing half of glass enclosure so floor got very wet. A curtain or second part of glass pane needs to be installed. Floor tile was somewhat damaged as this looks like it was ongoing. Beautiful hotel. Palomino Island was beautiful. Staff could use a bit more training as to greet guests and be more attentive. Desk and concierge services were good. Parking attendants could do better, one in particular, at the entrance,looked like we woke him up."

"The property has a restaurant, a pool bar, a bar inside where you can order food. The restaurant closes at 9 which for us was a little too early. The breakfast was amazing, you have many options to choose from. The room was big enough for the 4 of us. The pool is beautiful and big. The staff is great they are always happy and helpful. The only thing I didnt not agree was on the price for parking.. for me was a little high. The hotel is close to the beach where you get umbrella and chairs free. Close to Old San juan and many other places."

"This place was nice but not what they detail to be offered when on site. You have to drive to the beach, they do not offer beach chairs, the room is so tiny - it doesn’t even have somewhere to store your clothing for your trip. The pool is small so if there are a few people in it, it’s overcrowded. Overall, this place is good for a night or two but was complicated to stay for a week. Breakfast was also not worth the walk to the room and the water served made us sick."
