"The staff was very welcoming and spoke enough english to accomodate all of our needs. We got the room with the private bath with included dinner and breakfast in the room. Food was extremely delicious."

"Staffs are amazing. Meals are 8/10. Onsen is great. Great location, walking distance to shops and ropeway. It would be nice to offer welcome drinks at lobby. "

"I highly recommend the wagyu dinner/breakfast"

"Nice place, Staff is nice and helpful, the hot spring bath is great "

"Had a great Ryokan and hot springs experience. Arima Onsen is a beautiful place with the hotel located on a small hill"

"The accomodations and bathing area are a bit worn, but this is reflected with the price. The service is exceptional however, and I really enjoyed the onsen. Onsen is tattoo friendly which I needed. There is a smoking area within the building. It was a nice, traditional experience; the breakfast was particularly interesting. "

"Nice dinner and breakfast, enough parking space, everything was good!"

"Amazing hotel"

"I had a traditional Japanese room with a massage chair, balcony and view at the green mountains. It was super awesome and had a restful sleep. I visited the onsen bath as well which was very nice and refreshing."

"The dinner and breakfast served were excellent."

"Really nice hotel in every respect."

"Clean room, professional staff, nice dinner and breakfast"

"This was my first time staying at a ryokan. I had a wonderful time. The view was simply amazing. The dinner and breakfast meals were 10 out of 10 for presentation and taste. The baths were equally refreshing. The only thing I could critique is the bed was a little minimal compared to western beds I'm used to. I still got a great nights rest and would come back in a heartbeat."

"Delicious breakfast & meals (I recommend the Sukiyaki!), a beautifully maintained grounds in a picturesque location, with the friendliest staff - we LOVED our time here and highly recommend it!"
