"A bit grim I'm afraid, very worn, it really is time that it had an upgrade of some sort - everything about it was shabby and worn down. I'm sorry to say that but it wouldn't be fair on others if I didn't. Clean but that's about the best I can say. There is no 'spa' and no 'massage' as advertised which I established before arrival, the public bath is pretty grim. My room door didn't lock, it did from the inside but not the outside - they must know, I wasn't bothered as I consider Japan very...

Room with open air Onsen we stayed was very spacious, clean, comfortable. Open air Onsen was beautiful and quiet. Enjoyed very much. Dinner was phenomenal, and the breakfast was delicious as well. Hospitality was just beyond my expectations. We highly recommend this place. "
