Everything about our stay was perfect and wished we stayed more than one night. The food was great and truly enjoyed the experience. The open-air hot spring bath was heavenly. They picked us up from the station by the open air museum and dropped us off at Gora station in the morning. I went as a girls’ getaway, but definitely perfect for couples!

Rooms are very clean. Amenities are adequate. Above all the place is in an environment where ait quality is superb and hot springs are everywhere! Mt. On the other hand for customers with a certain age you may need to be prepared for slope climbing. For westerners who are used to having showers in the unit you might be challenged to use “public bathrooms”. Lastly it won’t hurt if you...

The futon’s aren’t very thick so it can be a bit uncomfortable if you’re a side sleeper. Other than that our stay was great. The owner, Yudai, is incredible and has an excellent sense of hospitality. When I come to Hakone again this place will be at the top of my list.
