"Expectacular"

"We have been doing family vacations for the last 5 years in the DR. This all inclusive resort was the best one by far we have been to, especially being part of the excellence club. The food is absolutely amazing at the restaurants. The staff is so nice. It was so calm and peaceful. Only comment I would say is about the housekeeping, it was not the cleanest. Other than that, everything else was excellent. We will definitely be back!"

"Great value, excellent service, and a fun family stay We had a great stay at Ocean El Faro and felt it was excellent value for the price. Overall, we would definitely return. The beach was one of the highlights. There’s an area with rougher waves that were fun, and if you walk a bit further down, you can find a calmer section that’s perfect for relaxing and swimming. It was nice having both options. Our concierge, Jose, was outstanding. He booked all of our restaurant reservations and was always quick to help with any questions or concerns. One surprise was that the resort does not carry alcohol-free beer, but Jose went above and beyond by picking some up for me off the resort for a small charge and having it stocked in our room — much appreciated. The restaurants were very good. Dolce Vita was our favorite, and we enjoyed it so much that we went twice. The Mexican restaurant was our least favorite. The buffet had lots of good options, and the snack bar was perfect for a quick bite when you didn’t want a full meal. One downside was that there were no sit-down breakfast or lunch options available if you weren’t part of the Privilege Club and were traveling with kids. This was a minor inconvenience, as the buffet and snack bar were quick and efficient and actually allowed us to spend more time at the beach. The lazy river was an excellent addition, though it could be frustrating at times as some guests would “hog” the tubes. Overall great resort and would reccomend. "

"This property was everything I needed. The place was clean, staff went above and beyond. There are 4 restaurants to chose from. Entertainment every night and activities through out the day."

"Hotel is far away from Punta Cana and its worth it! Samana has the most beautiful beaches in DR. Hotel was very clean, personal very kind and care! Rooms are spacious and well loaded with beverages of your preference."

"It was a fantastic stay for our family. We spanned 3 generations - grandparent, parents, and adult children - and the staff made sure everyone was taken care of. The food was wonderful, even for our gluten free and vegetarian family members. My father-in-law loved the buffet and my children sampled all the choices. Dario at the breakfast buffet was super attentive, while at the beach, Luis, Bryan, and Miguel all made sure we had everything we needed and Myra made sure everything was spotless. "
