We boooked this hotel because we thought it was a party hotel. It is definitely is a party hotel if you are older or you’re looking for a quiet peaceful place to go. The room was OK we did have a minor inconvenience, but they fixed it rather quickly. The staff made the stay 100 times better. They are AMAZING !! The food is like any of the resort it’s mid at best, but you can find what you like and stick to it.

Great one stop stay with all amenities. You don’t have to leave the resort if you don’t want to. Staff could be friendlier. They don’t all say hello how are you when you walk past them. Customer service is very important. You people make our stay memorable or not. Great entertainment every night.

The hotel is an all in one stop for people seeking a get away. Shops, entertainment all at resort. Food was excellent all times of day. My only criticism is the lack of consistent friendly staff. The only people who stood out because they were so friendly and welcoming were Olvin in Vespa, Gabriel who was everywhere! The staff at main bar in lobby. Don’t just walk past hotel guests and not say hello and how is your stay with us so far. Customer service goes a long way.

When we arrived, we were given a $600 credit & told (by multiple employees) we could use it for spa/dinner/wine add-ons & it would be applied at checkout. At checkout, they said we were supposed to get a $600 coupon book (ex: $20 spa coupon, $5 off wine). No one gave us this & we were expected to know to go to a separate desk (not the one who gave us the voucher). Huge bait & switch, felt very fraudulent. Manager did nothing about it. Room was subpar: ceiling light didn’t work & on day 2 they removed the bulb. Room phone didn’t work. Water only came out of ~30% of the shower head & handheld was fixed pointing at the wall so you had to hold it to actually use it. Toilet room door didn’t fully open so you had to squeeze in. No internal door lock—had to block door w/ a chair. Glad we did b/c housekeeping tried to enter every morning despite us asking them to come back later. Staff often seemed annoyed. Part of pool closed for construction & rusty nails nearby. Pool service was extremely slow (drinks every 45–60 min + long waits). Overall vibe was off. Food was disappointing—skip the steak & lobster add-on. Beach vendors constantly approach you (cigars, excursions). We booked horseback riding after asking a CHIC manager if it was safe. Vendor said hotel could coordinate transport, but when we asked, staff got VERY upset we didn’t book thru them, said it was unsafe. Didn’t end up going & no refund. Vendors on property also harass you nonstop. Wouldn’t go again.

First, I have to give a huge shoutout to our butlers Johnny and the waiter Finely (who told us to call him Friendly) from the Diamond Club. They truly made the trip special. Johnny was amazing—very attentive, polite, and professional. He checked on us frequently and made sure we had everything we needed. Our first night was a little rough because we didn’t receive our towels, face cloths, or robes, but Johnny stepped in the next day and handled the situation immediately. Friendly also lived up to his nickname. He was incredibly sweet, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure we were enjoying ourselves. Between the two of them, the service was a 10/10 and they really elevated our experience. The resort itself was very clean and beautiful, and the drinks were great. The bartenders and pool waitstaff were fantastic—very friendly and always ready to make a good drink. Thought it would be more activities available, definitely a couples or relaxing resort. Not a “party resort”. However, I was a bit disappointed with the food. It just wasn’t to our liking and tasted pretty bland overall. The buffet was okay but nothing spectacular. Another downside was that some of the restaurant staff were not very friendly or attentive, and we noticed that some menu items had very small fine print indicating an additional charge. For an all-inclusive resort, that was a little disappointing because it felt like certain things were being upsold that we expected to already be included.

This property was wonderful - the staff went above and beyond to make our honeymoon so special. They provided us a beautiful moonlit dinner, our room was beautifully decorated! Our butler Johnny was an absolute angel - he took care of our dinner reservations, we had fresh OJ and Prosecco each morning delivered to us :) and he ensured we were constantly taken care of! We will absolutely be returning - we could not have dreamt up a better experience!

We had a great stay! We stayed for 7 days and really enjoyed it. We loved Ray from entertainment, he was always keeping the energy high and was so fun. Caeser and the other guys from the swim up bar were always amazing and made amazing drinks! We also really enjoyed Mr. Chelly’s fitness classes. overall it was a great stay.

I was in a Diamond Club swim out room. I must say Wil our butler was GREAT! In my ratings I put staff at good but I didn't mean Wil. I was here 2 yrs ago and I must say the quality of food has gone down except for the sushi restaurant. bacon and burgers undercooked, steaks chewy, scramble eggs looking like rice, I wasn't a fan. I did LOVE the massage, kudos to Sam

Nice place. Food was better than average. Bartenders at the main bar are the slowest bartenders I have come across. Prepared to be ignored and wait. Best to move from the bar and use one of the friendly wait staff.

While the staff was great and the Expedia provided Concierge Johnny was absolutely phenomenal, everything else was a complete and utter disappointment. We had 4 rooms, upon check-in one of the rooms was not ready until after 8pm. Buffet was extremely limited options, sink was clogged, water from shower was seeping into the room, there was a waterbug in the room, the smoke detector was not operable. All the times I have been to Punta Cana and other travels this was the worst resort I have ever stayed at.
