My boyfriend and I visited Punta Cana for the first time and stayed at Ocean Rl Faro Resort. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with friendly staff. Our flight was quite early in the morning and we arrived well before check in time. Hotel staff was super accomodating and provided our room 3 hours early. We had our own personal concierge named Hector who was absolutely amazing. He texted us through our stay to ensure we were enjoying our time and making sure we had everything we needed. He was able to answer any questions we had and was very friendly and professional. He made all of our reservations for us, helped set us up to booked excursions and helped out any way he could. He was great! We booked our excursions through the hotel and each one was lovely. Unfortunately we were unable to complete one excursion due to windy weather, but we were provided a refund for this and appreciated this very much. The rooms were beautiful and cleaning staff was lovely, even making us cute little towel folds with flowers. The resort itself was great with activities for everyone. Lastly, the food was amazing at every restaurant we went to, and drinks were awesome too. Definitely would recommend this resort! They had many activities for kids too so great for families.

The room was beautiful, I only had an issue with trying to get the hot tub 🛁 in working order! I had to change rooms, however, I’ll make a long story short, the hot tub didn’t work after changing rooms!!

It was absolutely incredible. The grounds are spectacular—lush, beautiful, and perfectly maintained. The pool is fantastic, and the lazy river is so much fun. The bars are outstanding—great cocktails and a lively atmosphere. I have to give a special shoutout to Carlos Enrique—his warm hospitality made our stay truly exceptional. I can’t recommend Ocean El Faro enough—this resort is a real gem!

This resort was great. The staff are incredible and made the week so much fun. Rooms are clean and restaurants are amazing. Lots of games and activities going on throughout the day. Special shoutout to the entertainment team, Carlos, Endrick, Roberto, Enrique and Gerson. As well as the bartenders, Ruddy, Ricardo, Gilbert, Crisel and Mario. They made the week so enjoyable. Definitely coming back!!

Dirty dishes. No customer support at all. Staff look grumpy and show no interest in serving guests. The worst and most serious issue was a major safety hazard: a large concrete decorative letter “A” from the “Dominican” sign near the beach was not properly bolted or secured. It nearly fell and could have sent my kids to the hospital. Extremely dangerous and negligent. In addition, there are potholes everywhere along the walkways on both sides of the building, making it unsafe to walk. The food is tasteless, dining facilities are poor, and there is no variety—the same food is served every day. Not worth it. Be careful.

This was a beautiful resort. Tons of food options and stuff to do! The staff were amazing! The only down sides is that they allow people to reserve chairs even though they have signs to no reserve. They don’t do anything to prevent this so there are a lot of chairs open with just towels on it but no people so it’s annoying when you are at the pool and need to put your stuff down or need a break from the sun.

Our room had no TV or internet upon arrival. We reported it immediately. After 3 different sets of techs, and 3 hours we got TV. We had no access to the hotel's services, menus, or WhatsApp, which is the way everyone communicates. We missed all communications and reservations. We were able to order room service, that was delivered without utensils. We ordered extra coffee for the morning, but didn't get ANY creamer or sugar. We then had to go to the front desk, and after an hour if speaking to service people, we had to pack up and move to another room as internet was not going to get fixed...it was now my husband's birthday. Our family was frantic as our phones and internet (emails) weren't being answered. The staff was very unsympathetic to our dilemma. The 2nd room had a broken reading light, and screened door was off the hinges, and was almost impossible to open. My husband tripped on the broken porch tile, and when getting on the golf cart/ trolley was thrown off when the driver took off before he was totally on the seat. We travel a lot. This was the worst experience EVER!!! Food was mediocre at best. The pineapple was good. That's the kindest thing I can say.

El hotel es hermoso, la habitación es bonita, moderna pero el piso estaba sucio, lleno de arena el primer día cuando llegamos. La mayoría de los empleados son poco amables y parece que les "pesa" atender a los huésped. Tampoco me gustó la insistencia todas las mañanas para ofrecer la orientación. Me encantó el río pasivo y el bufet.

We had a great time! Overall the rooms were well kept and clean. The property was great, always something to do! My kids loved the mini waterpark! Reinaldo, our guests services specialist was so great! He booked all of our reservations - making supper so easy. The food was great! My son is celiac and they took such care for him - so many options for him!

Overall, it was a good stay. However, if you’re mainly going for the beach, I wouldn’t highly recommend it. The staff was kind and helpful, the facilities were good, and the food was generally good as well. Our guide, Reinaldo Sanchez , was especially helpful throughout our stay and made the experience easier and more pleasant.

The staff was amazing! Our butler Deiby got me the exact medicine I asked for to help me get over a sinus infection I had. He also got maintenance to address some small issues with our room promptly on our first day. The staff and bartenders were great and we got to celebrate my wife’s birthday with a candlelight dinner on top of the lighthouse. Best steak I ever had! Checking in and out was very smooth and the resort had plenty of things to do to keep us entertained!

The room was very clean and spacious, our butler was the best, berwin was not our butler, but he was a guy at the Privlidge side that gave food and drinks. The food at the resort was the best that we’ve been to, our butler was Jose, best butler ever, lobby was huge, and that’s all. 9/10 resort!

The rooms were outdated. Need to be updated. Staff was superb. Everyone was so incredibly nice. Jose, our butler, was AMAZING. I cannot tell you enough amazing things about him. The resort itself is big. It’s very pretty. The biggest complaint is the non stop hounding to buy a timeshare or membership. We are on vaca. We don’t want to be hounded every day while we are eating or relaxing. Again on Jose, he is top notch. He should run that resort. We loved him. Great guy.
