A very nice Ryokan in an exciting neighbourhood. The room was in traditional Japonese style, very sparse, no chair, only a low table, one foot high to sit on. Sleeping is on comfortable futans, also very low.
The staff went out of their way to be helpful, even to the point of walking us to a nearby excellent restaurant on the corner.

This hotel is a traditional style building which is also called a Japanese Ryokan. The building walls and windows do not keep out the noise and light as well as new building. The rooms have heat/AC to help this, but you can hear the light street noise. Bring your earplugs if needed. Also, you sleep on a traditional mat on the floor. The showers are great and roomy for local standards. I enjoyed staying here and the staff is very helpful and friendly.
