The front desk team is super helpful and friendly, and they speak great English. The rooms are very clean and a bit more spacious than what you’d expect in a typical Japanese hotel—they even have a microwave, a mini kitchen, and a separate bathroom and toilet. You’re close to lots of restaurants, shops, and convenience stores, and Okubo Station is just a few minutes away. We’d definitely stay here again!

I loved this little gem of a hotel. The staff is lovely and the hotel is affordable and really clean. The walls are also super thick so you don’t hear the baseball games that might happen across the street. I also loved the location. The street is quiet but metro close and so many places walkable. Our stay at Hotel Niwa made our Japan trip exceptional! As American travelers in our early 30s, we found this place to be a gem in Tokyo. The hotel's ambiance was simply beautiful, and the rooms were surprisingly spacious for a city known for compact spaces. Compact as you’d expect in Tokyo area but jam packed with all the essentials. Location is great being steps away from the subway station and a 10 min walk from Shinagawa Station.(direct Narita Express train from the international airport) There is also a convenience store right around the corner as well as a grocery store near by. They offer a breakfast buffet for a fee as well. We made this hotel our home for 3 days, but would have been pretty comfortable even for a week. We will keep this...

This was a well-maintained hotel with wonderful staff. The room itself was lovely and has great amenities. The 3 twin room was surprisingly spacious for 3 people. The on-premises restaurant was great too. The location is quiet and spacious which is a nice change from the surrounding metro area. It is literally next to a train station so transit is a breeze. My only real complaint is that the laundry facility was too small. There were often 2 hour lines of folks waiting to get loads...

Great location in Shinjuku and easy access to surrounding areas. Relatively close to Shinjuku station and not a far walk. Laundry is in the unit and the staff changes out towels and makes the beds every day. They also provide extra detergent pods if you run low. Check-in and check-out were very easy. Highly recommend this hotel.

Extremely comfortable stay at onyado nono bettei. The hotel annex just opened in January of 2024 and is very clean and inviting. The service is exemplary and location is prime. Roughly 15 minute walk to asakusa station, 2 minute walk to sensoji temple, and 5 minutes to asakusa view hotel to take a limousine bus to the airport. Very clean. Good, convenient location. Multiple subway lines are about a 5-7 minute walk away, and Shimbushi station is close (Tokyo station is a little over a mile away). Walkable to Tsukiji market. A lot of food options within walking distance, and the complimentary breakfast pancakes are a good quick way to start the day. Great shower.

Easy to walk to Team Lab in Azabudai hills! New neighborhood and it’s so lovely! Beautiful trees, lots of flowers everywhere! Cartier, Dior, beautiful shops! A very delightful hotel located near everywhere we needed to go to.

Tsukiji market is outside your door! If you like the market vibe, this place is great! The room had a washer, hot plate, microwave, dining table and more!
