"The three of us were very comfortable in suite 1 with the little twin window bed. The sound of the ocean drowned out the songs of the coqui frogs. It was a great location to see the sights on the Hilo side. The breakfast was amazing: fresh fruit, French toast or coconut pancakes, eggs to order, and juice. They have a little cabinet with first aid items and extra sunscreen.The hosts were caring and thoughtful. Would definitely recommend this place!!!"

"My husband and I stayed there for four nights and we had the most wonderful time there. Every morning was a different type of fresh cut fruit, mostly grown in the property and home bake goods. It was delicious! The room was small but comfortable and was exactly what we were looking for. The property and location was great too. It was a 10 minutes walk to rainbow falls and 5 minutes drive to downtown Hilo. "

"As usual Raul's rental was very clean and secure. Unfortunately we happened to be there when there was a huge storm that brought down many trees on the roads. No power for 6 hours but Raul brought over flashlights so we could see our way around. No Internet until after our stay ended. Raul offered to move us to another of his rentals which had internet."

"I loved the location of this vacation home. Updates from the photos as far as the kitchen is that the fridge is bigger and outside on the porch along with the induction cooktop. The grill was in great working condition. I really enjoyed cooking and eating outside on the porch. The view is spectacular. Jim was an amazing host and took the time to walk me around. I will be booking with Jim and Kim again."
