「If you are looking for a spot out of the hustle and bustle of Hilo this is your place. It was an excellent launching spot for all our adventures on this side of the island. The house had everything we needed. It was clean, updated, very comfortable. 」

「So close to it all…necessities, restaurants, shopping, waterfalls, all the things; felt like everything was a 10 minute trip at most. We felt right at home. Communication from host was concise, consistent, and ahead of schedule. We were given pertinent details and pictures of the location so we could find it easily after a long flight (we were exhausted) as well as recommendations on where to go. Love this place! Also…it’s adorable. 」

「We highly recommend this property. Very relaxing location right by the ocean, you can hear the waves crashing on the rocks below. Beautiful view of the sunrise from the upstairs or downstairs porches.This house is on the edge of a sea cliff so does not have direct access to the waterfront or a beach. Nonetheless it is an excellent base for exploring The Big Island. Quick drive of 5 minutes into the heart of Hilo. Approximately hour and a half to Kona/West coast depending on where you are...

「Perfect location, can walk just a short walk to the ocean cliffs and sit and watch the ocean. You can even hear the waves at night from my room. Just a room with bed, microwave, fridge, and bathroom. Nice outdoor table area that is covered so you can eat outside. Highly recommend.」

「This little cottage was perfect! It was super clean, had everything we needed, comfy beds, nice linens, fresh flowers and character. The owners put a lot of care into the decor and comforts inside the cottage. Everything worked fine and was as expected, if not better. Loved the two bathrooms off the bedrooms for our teens.The grounds need a ton of work that I'm sure is overwhelming for the owners. There is so much history hidden in that jungle! From mossy stone pathways to no where to overgrown...

「Overall we had a nice stay. Tiny house was cute and good value. Very close to Volcanoes national park which allowed us to see an eruption!! Electricity and wifi was unreliable, communication was sub par, and it was quite off the beaten path, but these were minor inconveniences that we took in stride.」
