Da das Hausboot fest im Hafen liegt ist ein kleines Motorboot zum erkunden der Gegend vorhanden (15PS) Vom Hausboot bis zum Anlegesteg Fürstenberg sind es mit dem Motorboot ca 15 Minuten. Der Anlegesteg befindet sich in der Gänsehavel. Wir sind von dort Einkaufen und Essen gewesen."

The marina where the houseboat is moored has been newly built and offers a great infrastructure. The marina is quite remote, the next larger town Karlshagen is about 9 km away.
