Really enjoyed the stay. Everything was great, including location! One remark would be that it was a bit loud on the 1st floor from the social area.

Loved the social atmosphere. Having tables in the lobby felt very welcoming. Free onsite laundry was a game-changer. Having trains, buses and a mall within blocks meant you could get anywhere you wanted to very easily and find all kinds of options for food, and any gifts and/or forgotten necessities very easily.

Loved staying at The Social Hub. I love that it’s not a standard hotel. It’s nice to stay among people of all ages and nationalities and to have the expectation that you’ll sit at lobby tables with other guests and even have whole conversations with people you’ve never met. I spent a few days at a conventional hotel during this trip and the contrast was huge. The other hotel felt sterile and impersonal. I love the location; it’s incredibly easy to get to most of Berlin, frequently without changing trains/busses. Also, having the Alexa mall two blocks away is amazing. Went there every business day for coffee, breakfast sandwiches, other meals, groceries, books, and an additional carryon because I’d accumulated enough to have to check one. Free washers and dryers are great as well.

I've stayed here about 12x. When visiting from America, I feel at home at the hotel. The staff is beyond friendly, cordial, respectful, and accommodating. The location is perfect for seeing Berlin. Please don't tell to many people about this gem. I don't want them raising their rates!
