"The cottage was homely as described. There was everything you needed in the cottage. We didn’t get to see/use the back garden because of wasps which the owner had told us about."

"An amazing property, home from home everything you need. A welcome pack was left for us on arrival which was a really nice touch. The property was spotless the rooms were spacious and decorated to a very high standard. The property is in a great location with an amazing garden. The station is about a 10 mins walk from the property in the village where you can get a train to Whitby. We went for a meal in the Bridge Inn which was good. I would highly recommend this property the hosts were easy to contact."

"We had a lovely week at Fairhead Cottage enhanced by the comfort and cleanliness of our accommodation., it was very well equipped and comfortable. Our hosts were very helpful and friendly. Our dog Willow 🕠made friends with the farm dogs and it was very nice to see the deer around the farm. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely book again when we visit Yorkshire next."

"A wonderful cottage situated in the middle of beautiful countryside. Michelle came to meet us when we arrived to explain the workings of a few things- very helpful. Also the cupboards were full of essentials. We'd taken things like salt ,cooking oil, washing up liquid. We needn't have bothered - everything was there for us. The welcome pack was a lovely touch. Lots of games and children's toys were provided too. We all had a great time. Can definitely recommend it."
