A satisfactory experience.

This is a simple B & B with parking out the back. It was entirely satisfactory for our visit to Whitby and the 15 minute walk to town was OK. However it was relatively expensive for what it offered.

Great location

Great location and free parking. The place is only 10minutes walk to the town centre. Room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is pretty good. Owner is friendly and informative.

Lorraine was very welcoming, the room was clean & tidy although the bed was a little uncomfortable. Self service breakfast is a great idea & nice start to the day. Whitby itself is lovely. Will come again sometime.

A good old-style private hotel. Compact room - number 3 doesnt get the incessant traffic noise. Nice breakfast ingedients to be eaten in your room. Check the actual walking times to places, and on routes, you would choose. And it is very hilly. Parking is available, tho tight access. We would stay again

Very disappointing room old fashioned lot of dirt behind bed head.window had film on it so no views en suite shower would only turn on and off with isolation switch,fan did not work mirror light did not work would suggest they get these out for safety reasons.smoke heads removed in bedroom overall very disappointing would not recommend it.

Relaxed and easy-going

Only a short walk to all of Whitby. Breakfast bar, with a selection of cereals, yoghurts, milk, cheese, toaster, bread and spreads was available just outside our room and available any time.

Friendly and comfortable

This guesthouse is at the top of the town so walking back would be difficult if you have mobility issues. It’s ideal for a few days stay, safe parking and the breakfast bar is a good idea in the present climate. The owner is friendly and accommodating so always ask if you need help. We would definitely stay here again

This is a clean, comfortable and friendly guest house. I stayed in the family room, which has en suite bathroom facilities and plenty of space. Manor House is at the top of a steep hill, which might be an issue for some, but could also be good practice for the 199 steps to the Abbey.

Choose the location based on reviews. The walk to the marina was short. Car park really small and ure asked to move ur car or youre blocked in depends where youre parked etc... All the doors were dirty you could see it clearly i cleaned ours myself as you have to push to open and constantly touching . There is no room for bfast you have it in your small room . Would not stay again.

Very nice B&B

Whitby is expensive to stay in so we decided to go for a cheaper option of a bunk bed room. Clean and tidy and did what it said on the tin. Very welcoming host that made an effort to make you feel welcome. Nice little area to sit in, with a pond. We sat out for a while with a cup of tea after coming back from the pub. Nice little touch that differentiates this from others.
