"The Argyle was a lovely guest house. A good walk to the front, but enjoyable. I couldn't comment on the staff, because there weren't any! All booked online, keys and car parking disc, left in an envelope at the door. Very difficult to get in touch with the owners if you needed anything. Too impersonal for me, I like a meet and greet."

We opted for breafast, what a good decision that was, it was delicious, one of the best full English breakfasts I have had, certainly filled us up ready for the day. A couple of evenings we popped into the bar for a drink, the staff were friendly and efficient. Would recommend Granby Hotel if visiting Whitby"

When we arrived we noticed it was cold and the boiler wasn’t working, we topped up the boiler and informed the host and they said this was correct and to let us know if it happened again.
