「Fantastic large room with everything you need. Spotlessly clean..」

「The Nutshell is a lovely little place, perfect for a stay in Whitby. Great location close to the harbour and town centre. Very clean and everything you need, hob, oven and all crockery and utensils. Nice feel to the place, makes you feel like you’re at the seaside. Great communication with the owners. Would 100% stay again. I was there for a week and had a wonderful time.」

「Upgrade to room 10 was excellent but restaurant staff were grumpy and not lgbt friendly. The person who checked me in who has an office in the stairwell was the opposite and as a regular customer and guest was approachable, lgbt friendly and use tge correct pronouns to address myself. Room was massive, comfortable and in the 17 th century part of the former Manor House with a courtyard view 」

「Just ten mins walk to town centre, few minute walk to north sea seaside, location is lovely. The room is clean, the bed is comfy, the shower has high water pressure which is good for after walking all day. The only one thing is kettle doesn't clean, some water left there when I check-in.」

「We stayed in room 17, parrot room. Very large space. TV was obscured by 4 poster bed frame, would be better above mantle. The room is by the front door, and the room above must be wooden floored as we heard a lot of footsteps/lpud thuds on the ceiling. We paid £3 for a parking permit for the W zone, but didnt find a parking space so ended up at the leisure centre - 10 min walk away Bed was comfy, but very soft. Pillows need replacing. But it was clean, comfy, roomy and comms were good re...
