"The house was everything we hoped for and more. The decor is spot on and there can't be many houses in Whitby with a better vista. The only thing I would say though is that it is very difficult to load and unload...Church St car park was packed so we had to use the Abbey car park which is a gruelling up/downhill slog for the less fit/able. Be prepared to travel very light as you can't get close to the property with a car. Having said that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return."

"Rachael and Rory were perfect hosts and were always there to assist us. The icing on the cake was a delicious Yorkshire Brack cake waiting for us on our arrival and to top it all Rachael made us a cake half way through our visit. The accommodation was excellent. "Beautiful, spacious renovated old mill. Great outdoor space overlooking private stream. Luxury bedrooms with ensuite shower rooms. Large kitchen, dining room and 2 lounge areas. An amazing stay with everything you could possibly want in a quiet, secluded area, close to Whitby. Would thoroughly recommend and wiuld definitely stay again if in the area. "The cottage was perfectly for us, beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean, with everything you may need for a stay away from home, from a picnic bag to a slow cooker. The location is perfect.Walking distance to the park and ride for Whitby and a great restaurant and pub across the road. We also took advantage of the lovely bridal paths for walks in the countryside. Jenny the host was very responsive. I would definitely recommend"

"Very smart and clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. parking was great. It's a bit of a walk into Whitby mostly because (like the whole area) it is a bit hilly. It is walkable though or just a short car / taxi / bus ride. I would happilly recommend. Parking is okay in Whitby but will cost up to £10 for the day."
