"It was on a quiet back street within 3-4 minutes walk to the main street. The staff were efficient and friendly. There were great dining options nearby and it was a short walk to St Kilda beach and the sea baths."
"Love that the business has a history of Australian art, having connection to Mirka Mora, art gallery director and well known art collector. So good to see ongoing paintings of all sizes and contemporary styles in the rooms and hallways.
Stephen at the front desk was very helpful and knowledgeable - a delightful person. "
"The people living in the room next to me were broken into one night...their phone, wallet, unit keys and car keys were stolen...and their car was also stolen!!"
"This hostel is so cool! The people and staff are very friendly, rooms are spacious with very comfy beds and a funky outdoor area and a relaxed, chilled safe feeling environment! Would recommend! "

Saint Kilda Beach Hotel (formerly Rydges St Kilda)
10/10 Excellent
"Over the four days, I found the staff to be charming and helpful. The air con was perfect. It was clean and I felt safe. Cafe great too. Big mug of coffee. Will stay again"
"The location of the property is perfect and size of the room was great, but it really lacked beyond that especially in terms of cleanliness and maintenance. All of the plates, mugs and glasses were dirty, the phone was hanging off the wall, the walls scuffed with stains on the carpet, the bedroom window did not open and although having a washing machine in the room was a good addition there was no dryer and only a small old rusted clothes horse. I wasn't expecting it to be 5 stars, but surely being clean isn't too much to ask."
