  • This is a little beach right before you get to Brighton beach. It's is way more quieter here than Brighton as you haven't got all the tourists taking photos of the beach boxes. Had a lovely swim here with a friend on a summers day here in Melbourne. :)

  • Elwood Beach in Melbourne is a popular bayside beach during sunny days and a great family beach. It’s not as accessible from the city as St Kilda as it’s not exactly on the tram or train line, but still only 8km’s away if you have a car, or jump in a cab. The water was clean and calm for swimming and our kids had a great time playing on the sand and the rocks. It’s another fairly active beach and you’ll see people windsurfing, cycling, playing cricket and walking.

Wonderful hotel!!!

Amazing hotel and fabulous location directly opposite the beach. Very clean and reception staff polite and helpful. Have stayed there a few times and would stay again. Central to everything as well.

The room was very good, however I did request that the balcony lights on room next door, attic 122 be turned off. I stayed in 121 last time I visited, the balcony lights at 122 were in all night. most annoying as I like to wake up to daylight. Please attend to this matter. Yours Sincerely Sue Flere.
