We loved our stay. Staff were friendly and attentive. This place hasn’t changed…… although not as bright and shiny as 20 plus years ago it continues to be a timeless boutique hotel with an attention to detail that captures bespoke design.

Conveniently located, walk to bars and restaurants. Hotel room was clean but a little tired looking. Basic amenities, a little noisy, good for a short stay. Breakfast was excellent, made to order. Parking was easy and with a direct acceess to hotel. Got a free parking as a VIP Expedia member which was great. Staff was super courteous and professional. Everything as expected, recommend for a short stay.

I choose this property specifically because it was near my favorite restaurant in Melbourne, Akwaaba. The Suya platter is the best. Anyway, the property and staff was excellent and I had no complaints. Bedroom/ bathroom was fine and comfortable. The tram runs all night on weekends and that was helpful. Location is good and easily accessible.

Super friendly and helpful staff and in a great location - close to restaurants, bars, trams and the beach. Hotel and room design is fab, bed really comfy and room spotless. Only downside was internal building work going on - hammering and drilling started at 8.30am. Not sure how long it's going on for, or whether it affected all rooms (maybe call and check if you're thinking of booking). Def woke us up earlier than we were planning. Wifi also unreliable.

I loved The Prince Hotel. Conveniently located close to shops, restaurants and public transport. Beds are ridiculously comfortable with quiet rooms. Highly recommend for short stays. Staff are absolutely amazing
