"Overall I had a positive experience because of the event occuring duriong the time of my visit. The staff was friendly, helpful and professtional. I was grateful after a long travel trip to be greeted by kind staff - reception, valet, security. Each very different and very helpful. Breakfast was fine both dayss. The surrounding area is was not desirable. We felt safe because our stay was during the Beatification of Archbishop Fulton Sheen so there was alot of traffic, cars and people everywhere. The condition of the front desk, lobby and rooms are very good. Disappointing was the hallway, up near the rooms. Unfortunately, the location is the only thing that would kept me from rebooking."

"I’ll start with the cons. There were flies in my room, hair as well as blood and hair in the bathroom of my sisters room, and the rooms are arranged in a way that everyone can see into everyone’s room. Pros; EVERYTHING ELSE! the staff is amazing helpful and attentive. The drinks and food at hotel delicious. The greatest bonus being the aquarium, rope course, the wheel, a huge koi pond and 3 restaurants right behind it! My favorite favorite part is the historic background of the hotel. Being a former train station, there were many displays and plaques boosting about the glory days of the station. The architecture alone was worth the stay. Definitely recommend staying here however I’d spring for the higher priced room options were I to return"
